About AWARE for All

AWARE for All is a free program that aims to educate and empower the public and patients to make informed decisions about participating in clinical research. AWARE for All events include free health screenings and food, exhibits featuring community organizations and research centers, talks from local physicians and patients, and a reception to honor clinical research volunteers.

Why take part in clinical trials?

There are many reasons why people take part in a clinical trial:

To gain access to a new, investigational medicine

To receive special attention from a medical expert or a health professional

To learn more about their disease and how it affects people managing that disease

To improve knowledge about how — and how not — to treat disease
